How we work

From survey to handover —
and beyond.

  1. 01

    Survey & design

We survey the existing services, model the loads and produce a coordinated MEPH design — or develop a consultant’s design through to installation.

  2. 02

    Procure & coordinate

Plant, distribution and specialist packages procured early and coordinated with the trades above and below, so the M&E never becomes the programme’s bottleneck.

  3. 03

    Install

First and second fix self-delivered by our own engineers, sequenced floor-by-floor around live, occupied buildings where needed.

  4. 04

    Commission & certify

Witnessed commissioning to CIBSE and BSRIA codes, full electrical testing to BS 7671, and a complete set of O&M and as-built records.

  5. 05

    Handover & maintain

Demonstration, training and a clean handover — then planned maintenance and a 24/7 line if you want us to keep the building running.

Standards & compliance

Built to the codes that
matter on handover.

The standards we build to

  • BS 7671 — IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
  • CIBSE & BSRIA commissioning codes
  • Building Regulations Parts L, F & P
  • HSG274 & BS 8558 — water hygiene & services
  • CDM 2015 across every package

Backed by AMPM Group

  • The Group’s accreditations behind every job
  • 29 years of group trading history, since 1997
  • One project manager accountable per programme
  • Full commissioning, O&M and as-built records
  • PQQ and reference packs on request

FAQs

MEPH questions,
answered.

What does MEPH stand for?

Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health — the three core building-services disciplines. We self-deliver all three as one coordinated package, so the most technical part of a job sits with a single accountable team.

Do you take on design, or install only?

Both. We can develop a consultant’s design through to installation, or design-and-build the M&E package from the brief — including load modelling, coordination and specification.

Can you work in an occupied or live building?

Yes. Much of our work is phased around live buildings — out-of-hours isolations, temporary supplies and floor-by-floor sequencing — so the building keeps running while we install.

What standards is the work certified to?

Electrical installations are designed and tested to BS 7671 (18th Edition); mechanical systems are commissioned to CIBSE and BSRIA codes; and everything is delivered under CDM 2015 with full O&M and as-built documentation.

Do you cover heat pumps and low-carbon plant?

Yes — air-source heat-pump retrofits, low-carbon plant and the electrical-distribution upgrades they need are a growing part of our MEPH work, alongside EV charging and energy-efficiency packages.

Which areas do you cover?

We deliver MEPH packages across London and the South East, including Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire. Send us the site address and we’ll arrange a survey.

The other three lines

four service lines.
