PAS 9980 Remediation & External Wall Fire Remediation

Your FRAEW has landed on your desk with a list of defects and a compliance deadline, and now the works have to be delivered, documented and signed off. We are the contractor that turns a PAS 9980 assessment into a remediated wall: cladding replacement, cavity barriers and fire-stopping, delivered by one accountable team alongside your fire engineer. One programme, one point of contact, a golden-thread record at handover.

FAQs

Your questions,
answered.

Do you carry out the PAS 9980 FRAEW assessment?

No. The Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls is produced by a competent independent fire engineer or assessor. We deliver the remediation works to the outcomes that assessment specifies, working alongside your fire engineer.

Can you issue an EWS1 form once the work is done?

No. EWS1 forms are issued by a suitably qualified fire assessor, not by the remediation contractor. We hand over the golden-thread records and evidence your assessor needs to support their sign-off.

What does your remediation scope actually cover?

Cladding and rainscreen replacement, cavity barriers and fire-stopping, combustible insulation strip-out and replacement, and interface detailing — all built to the specification set out in your FRAEW outcome and recorded for the safety case.

Which areas do you cover?

London and the South East, including Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire.
